Originally used for its medicinal properties, witch hazel became Thayers’ hero ingredient and an industry standard formula made the old-fashioned way – and not distilled – so they contain 195% more tannins, which have mild antioxidant properties and help to balance the skin’s pH levels.

In 2012, Thayers’ prioritised using certified organic witch hazel and aloe vera in all of their formulas before relocating to a family-owned organic farm where Thayers witch hazel is grown.
