Just as he had elevated makeup to an art form, Uemura wanted to showcase the artistry in hairdressing and celebrate creative expression through style. Shu Uemura’s cleansing oil was revolutionary on its release in 1967, melting away makeup effortlessly, while moisturising and rebalancing the skin.
